Euphoria 2017 | 2nd Phase

Posted by on Nov 29, 2016 in Festivals, News, Stories

As the region’s largest independent music festival, Euphoria Festival never abides by the rules, so they decided to bestow the honor of announcing their second phase to Brach Foster, the definition of a Euphoria superfan. See his full, exclusive announcement here.

It’s with so much excitement and joy that I get to announce what I’m about to share with you.

Euphoria Music Festival grew on me the moment I walked into those festival grounds back in 2015, and the love grew stronger after the amazing year that 2016 brought to Carson Creek Ranch. It’s like my second home. 2015 in particular became extremely sentimental. I had never been to a camping festival before attending in 2015, and instantly felt the love floating in the air. That year on the second day, April 11th, whenever Pretty Lights headlined, I got to celebrate my dad’s birthday who would’ve turned 54 at the time. It was and will be one of the best days in my entire life at this point. Strangers became friends and the friends I went with became even more important to me.

The great people and minds behind the Euphoria team decided to let one of the fans announce Phase 2 of their lineup. Talk about caring for the people who make up this festival. Somehow, this opportunity has fallen upon me.

It is with great honor and complete excitement to present to all of you, Phase 2 of the Euphoria 2017 lineup. Thank you to everyone I’ve met at this very special festival and thank you for listening.

April isn’t too far away. Phase 3 will be here before you know it 😅

Coming off a pre-Thanksgiving announcement that Alesso, Pretty Lights Live, Young Thug, Bob Moses, Chronixx, The Floozies, The Knocks, and Papadosio would be headlining the sixth annual festival, Euphoria is releasing the next phase of its lineup, just two weeks later. With The Disco Biscuits, Wiz Khalifa and Zeds Dead topping the phase two headliner list, the festival has also added 20+ additional artists, including: Alan Walker; BadBadNotGood; Mija; Spag Heddy; Yotto; CID; Grum; Manic Focus; Petit Biscuit; Ganja White Night; Asadi; Codeko; Evanoff; Ill-Esha; Slaptop; The Widdler; Carlyle; Craetion; Henna Rosso; Jamiroqueen and Lemurian. The phase 2 artists are joined by previously announced artists: Dr. Fresch; Poolside; Tennyson; Unlike Pluto; The Funk Hunters; Medasin; Raven Felix; Capyac; Flamingosis; Maddy O’Neal; Psymbionic; Blunt Force; Brede; Sip Sip; Slice Gang and Willgood. A third phase to the lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.

The multi-stage music and camping festival will return to Carson Creek Ranch. In addition to the previously announced camping enhancements, direct shuttle service and added greening initiatives deemed “Ecophoria” – with the first river cleanup on site taking place on Dec. 3rd co-hosted with Keep Austin Beautiful.
